About Me
I was born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica to parents from the United States where I started judo at the age of 14 and competed on the Costa Rican junior national team for several years. In 2018, I received my black belt from Kenia Rodriguez, a Cuban Olympian and Pan-American champion.

After graduating high school, I moved to New York to attend Sarah Lawrence College where I studied Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. During and after college, I traveled for international competitions and training camps representing Team USA.

Now based in Brooklyn, I have dedicated the past few years to coaching judo as well as competing in jiujitsu representing my team Unity Jiujitsu. In 2025, I received my brown belt from Murilo Santana.
These days, I'm focused on competing and training hard in jiujitsu as well as coaching my students in judo. Off of the mats, I have a passion for reading, snacking, and playing Balatro.
